Nice bit of riding by everyone and things were smooth all the way back to Willis Pt road, where Josh, Shawn, and I turned toward the hills. I have to note, it was nice to see Greg riding so well as I have not had much time to group ride with him but I thought I noticed a big change in power from what I recall. The more strong rouleurs, the better the fest I say. I see this ride as a great way for riders interested in exploring or returning to racing because it's a less competetive environment in which to push yourself. Rather than feeling bad when I get stomped, I rather like seeing my fellow TSers shine. It's a good thing either way at the end of the day and, speaking personally, I really get a clearer idea week to week by experimenting with diet, rest, and ride intensity how my bodyt responds.
Unllike two weeks ago on this same ride, I was feeling good. Josh said the "sensations" for him were not so much but I gave it the stick anyway because I am a bad man and because I wanted revenge for getting stomped on Munn's on the prior ride.

Josh and I grabbed coffee and sandwiches at Fantastico and I rode home on warm spring sunshine. Even when I feel like baked dog sh*t, this has quickly become one of my favorite rides. Thanks for intiating this now staple of the TS schedule and for leading the fest, Josh.
