Apparently. I was only going about 5km/h making a left onto bay. The chain jumped over the top of the cassette, and instantly everything blew up. :( I had to coast out of the intersection without getting run over.

That is a bummer dude. You guys should have just stopped for coffee at my house. I would have even let you out of the basement!

I feel your pain. The reason I have been on my Everti since january is I had the same thing happen in simlar weather in January out in East Sooke near Gillespie. My dropout ripped off alongh with the replaceable hanger. Dura Ace derailleur tore into 3 pieces. Still waiting to get the frame repaired.
