Race Kit Wardrobe Malfunction

Post by sylvan »

 So below is a photo from this past weekend's 'B' group race at Latoria. Besides wearing a black and red helmet, baby blue cap, orange shades and Garmin shoe covers with the new Tripleshot-Spinnakers Racing Team kit, I see only now that I've gacked up the arrangement of the arm warmers. The arm warmers are interchangeable L/R, but have to be carefully aligned to match the jersey. I have them spun around so they clash with the different-coloured argyle on the shoulders. This obviously has to be taken into account when preparing for an event. I accept my pending penalty for this appalling transgression and hope we can all learn from it.

That's one of the reasons I opted for the long sleeve jersey.

Seriously, when you win, no one cares how you dressed. But if you insist, you can either drop €200 into the TS Spinnakers kitty or buy a round at our namesake pub before you leave us to go east.

You won looking like that! And 2nd place Matt ain't gonna a win best kit award either. I guess this is what early season races are for :D I suppose, with my Iron Girl glasses, I shouldn't comment.

I think you're all just gunning for next year's 'I get dressed in the dark' award at the annual bash. Seems like the GC is packed with contenders...

Maybe I was too harsh - Matt's Garmin/TS combo ain't so bad, especially with the argyl carry-over and the Victoria/Rider H. theme.
