I am continuing to increase the distance of my Sunday ride in preparation for the 140 K Ryder ride. This Sunday I plan on 110 K. Nothing too terribly intense just wanting to get in the bum time on the saddle. If anyone else is interested, I was thinking of leaving from the usual place at the usual time but heading west along the Goose into Langford then into Metchosin and back up Millstream and Munns and beyond until we approach 110 K. Sound like fun?
Barton.
Sunday.

Re: Sunday.
Could be fun. I might be in if I'm feeling fit enough. Have you thought about doing the reverse? That is ride as usual with the group to Saanichton and Wallace Drive and then turn right on Durrance or the Goose to head to Metchosin.

Another option is to ride the long way to Caleb for the VCL race and try the B or 3/4 race, or watch and cheer the argyle armada. Wear your argyle. http://duanebc.com/raceresults2011/VCL% ... march9.htm
I'm hoping to get some of the Oak Bay kids to ride up as a group and take a look at least, maybe start for the keener ones. Several are away tho w march break etc. Maybe start at 9 at Oak Bay high, but tba. We might be in Oak Bay High gear.
