and then there were five..........
Sylvan & Carly on the tandem, John, Steve and myself put in a few laps on uvic's ring road this morning. Nice weather for riding and a good way to start the week.
Same time next week.

My legs hurt. That's not all that hurts. Next time (tomorrow morning) I'm swapping over my saddle. Good ride! Sorry I sucked so bad. Hopefully I'll get better.
Re: Monday Feb 14 - ring road
Did your Garmin tell you how many laps did we ended up doing, Sylvan?

My Garmin misdirected me and I ended up doing an extra 25 km by accident. You should have heard some of the comments I got, riding a tandem solo.Roland wrote:How did you end up in Colwood?

Thanks Sylvan;
Looks like 14 laps. Not bad. I suspect that laps faster than about 32 km/h were the ones where Steve did most of the pulling, and that the sub-30 km/h laps were the ones with me at the front.
Hmm....do you suppose there's any Freudian symbolism behind circling one's office 14 times on a bicycle, in the dark, at 6am?
