From John Errington:

Boxing Day Time Trial.

Sign on at 10 am first starter at 10:30 am

The race is an individual time trial where the participants ride alone
against the clock, starting one minute apart. We expect approximately 15
riders. The proposed route is out and back on Happy Valley Road starting
near Sooke Road with the turn around just north of Rocky Point Road.

Are any cycling licenses required to participate i.e. citizen license or as its a non sanctioned event a license is not required?

Thanks
Colin

Insurance was required last year. License or club insurance at the race.

Oak Bay High had a group ride at Hartland. Brenna got a new mountain bike for Christmas, so there was really no option. Liam rode too and got air on just about every bump on Torpedo Run, full of excitement at the bottom. Alex is starting to like it too; it's a cool trail that is rideable slow or fast, blue if it's slow, double black fast.
