There is an excellent article in the New York Times magazine written by my friend Bruce Grierson who writes about research on exercise and the aging process. At the heart of the story is a 91 year old woman who is considered one of the world's greatest athletes, holding 23 world records, 17 in her current age category of 90-95. (she started doing track and field when she was 77)

The story really dives into the science of aging research and examines whether exercise could really be a potential elixir of youth. It's an interesting an inspiring story, and holds out hope for us all to some day be able to break records.
