I should have posted this yesterday but if anyone was on the Sunday ride I hope you were wishing John T a big Happy Birthday. Hope all is well, old man! (I can say this confidently because 'Big Ring' John was born one day before me!)

Alan;
John T clearly wasn't feeling his age today...in typical "big-ring style", he pulled Marcus and me most all the way back into town to catch the rest of the group. We got separated from them on an icy stretch along Hunt Rd, just past the right turn at Sayward...didn't catch them again until Uplands.
JD
P.S. Happy belated birthday to you, Alan!

Clearly I don't know the meaning of "belated."

I was thinking of you today Alan - I get to be the old man one day a year and you weren't there for any words of wisdom.
Great ride today everyone.

As much as I hate horoscopes, this is what mine said today under the category "If today is your birthday". I'll just keep stirring....
Professor/author C. S. Lewis (1898-1963) shares your birthday today. You're an independent thinker and not afraid to say or do things that provoke others. In fact, you like to make others think. The reason you stir the pot is you want to call attention to injustice or raise the level of standards around you. Whatever you learn this year might make 2011 one of the most powerful years of your life! Dream big!
