Saturday Sufferfest Nov 13th

Another intimidating looking group at coffee this morning. Gavin, Shawn, Sylvan, Greg, Dylan, myself, and Geoff W until matticks. With the time change, right from the beginning you could start to see the first light in the sky, like a light at the end of the tunnel.
The light at the end of the tunnel, unfortunately, was the pain train bearing down on us. The pace was fast right from the get go, warmup be damned. I think that may have been one of the fastest times we've ever had to sidney as the train had 6 locomotives and no brakes today. Out of control and always in danger of running off the rails.....One of you guys with a garmin needs to post some stats. I'm curious what that average speed was.
The pain train continued on past Sidney and over Wain, with some mysterious force continually hurling Shawn off the front. Eventually the cold and driving rain turned the last 20km into a silent funeral procession back into coffee.
Great ride, yet again.
