Team Jackets

I posted this in the Gear Order forum a few weeks ago, but in talking with people it seems that some don't knows it's there. So here, for all you forum-challenged members, is a suggestion on team jackets. I can't believe that, after all of the discussion about these leading up to the gear order, there would only be two people interested in order one. Then again, I could be wrong...

I've done some looking into jackets that could be used for non-cycling activities and there are almost limitless options. I've included what I think is a good option here to see what the level of interest is in this.

Ideally, we would all have the 400 British pounds it cost for this one that Lister pointed out...

but I suspect that the price point may be a bit high for most.

This one is about $70. There are colour options, though it's not a blank canvas. The minimum order is 48 units so we need to have significant interest if we want to pursue this.

Post here if you are interested.

Another option might be to get stitched patches or vinyl decals made up and then have them professionally transferred onto existing garments (approx $2-10 per decal and $1 per transfer). This way the smaller logo'd TS kit could be comprised of jackets, tees, polo shirts, sweats, durags, etc.

Price would be significantly reduced as would the "cool" factor associated with everyone showing up in exactly the same windbreaker. Out at $400, reluctantly in at $80 (do I really need another jacket....well ok if it says TS on it), and in for a bunch of decals.

JW Tanks for your on going clothing help.

48 minimum seems like a big challenge. $80 seems ok. I would consider it. Any chance of a sample for sizing and style?? You may have said at some point where they are from ,but I may not have read it.

Its probably best to assume half of TSC members don t read this forum and maybe have of that 50% skim the postings [such as me]or don't check the clothing section unless we are doing an order.[also me]
SUGGESTION and QUESTION???: Do we, TSC have the ability to do an email mailing to our database? Do we ever? Should we for something like this??

Thanks pc
