Think the Belgians like cross much? Their top pop artist even did a 'theme song' music video for the Superprestige Belgian Cyclocross series:

Wow. I love waffles.

Banjos? I knew we were fringe, but maybe racing around in circles is a kind of Deliverance.
Around 1:42 is a good argument for taking the right line through a corner.

Tell you what, man, it's got some dang ol' nice fiddle playin' in the background there, not so much banjo, but if it's got fiddle and steel, it's all good by me, know what I'm sayin'? The banjo ain't only for inbred goobers, neither. Ol' Bernie Leadon played some awesome banjo for the Eagles in the early days. The Merritt Mountain Music Festival is back on next year after a tragic one-year hiatus. TatYana Storm would be a great addition to the lineup. Merritt July 7-9 and the Axelfondo in Penticton on July 10? Possible, but three nights in the Merritt beer garden might not be the best prep for a 150 km bike race.

Could have been intentional, he conveniently took out Nys(i think?) while his teammate rode away.
