Who's in? My wife, Nancy (Thrifty cashier superstar), not only enables my recently acquired addiction by agreeing to let me have three bikes in the house, she has also used our aeroplan miles to book two return first class flights to Madrid next year on dates that roughly correspond to the time when the vuelta is run. So if anyone has the means, time and desire to go for a ride or ten in Spain late next summer let me know because I am in and pumped, and lucky. It would be amazing to have more than one set of argyle on display and to share a bottle of tempranillo. Also, on a more probable note, if anyone has ever experienced a grand tour from a spectator's perspective and you have tips, information or suggestions (e.g. if you can ride part of a stage in the morning or the next day) please pass them along on a ride or at coffee. Salud.

Marcus, You know about the GiroSardegna don't you? Use those air miles to join the gang heading to Italy in April. Of course, watching the Tour of Spain will be amazing too. For others too that might not have been around when this event was discussed, here's a link:
