Kudos to Brenna and Alex who gave it a go, and are ready for more. Adam finished his new bike minutes before meeting us to ride to the course, and learned the sram double tap-dance shifting between crashes and avoiding me when I miss-shifted and ran the steepest climb like Don Knotts in lead boots in front of him.
I remember a very traditional Italian cyclist in our club when I was a junior, looking at a cross race photo in a magazine and saying, "Isn't that like a horse race where you get off and give the horse a ride?" Doesn't make sense...until you try it.
