Is this forum too busy?

Should it be reserved for actual tripleshot cycling club topics, ride updates, membership info, club events, etc?

Should I split it into 'Tripleshot Cycling' and 'Pickle Juice Chat'?

If it were any less busy what would we do with ourselves?

The idea is that those who check the forum infrequently can just check the main subforum get the important updates, while Rolf, Sylvan et al. can hang out in the Pickle Juice subforum and debate the merits of Kosher Dill, Polish and Hungarian pickle juices.

I wouldn't call it 'Pickle Juice Chat' but I'd agree with having a serious forum and a fluff forum.

Ouch. Was it the caffeine story that broke the Rollie's back? :P

This thread's described as "General cycling chat & coffee talk".
Should it be reserved for actual tripleshot cycling club topics, ride updates, membership info, club events, etc?
Most of those fit into the other four threads, don't they?

Another thread probably wouldn't hurt, though. TripleShot chat (ride info etc.) and Pickle Chat (general cycling stuff).

For the record, I prefer Garlic. :D

I think we need something different than another thread. A friend who is considering riding with us said we need more basic info on the home page like club philosophy, ride details, contacts for more info.

I agree Lister. I think the general, stats and classified sections are effective, but the general information section regarding rides and membership could be included as in a more traditional web site/page format.
That separation may allow access to the web information to a general audience, and restrict forum access to members only?

Less busy = better. I'd love to check out updated details on the Saturday CX hammerfest without having to scan the pj chit chat.
