Fall Gear Order

Okay here is where you can submit your order for this fall. We are going to submit this order on September 30th, so please tell everyone that it is up, especially those who are new or don't visit the site very often. It's a tight deadline because we want to try to get the gear before winter is over.

Look at the previous post as well. If there is any interest in higher quality gear (shorts and jerseys) I will take the orders from this forum and place them with the other supplier. Just want to make sure that this gets rolling.

One more thing - on accessories it's harder to meet minimums so we should try to stick to one type of glove or one style of leg warmer etc. so we can actually meet the minimums. If we stick to pieces that we already have artwork for that also helps to speed things up.

And full payment in advance guarantees your order. If you haven't paid for it by September 30th it won't be submitted. Here's the link:

What happened to the winter hat on the order list?

After seeing Mike and Rolf's ones from last year, I was going to order 1 (or 2). Goofy, yes; practical, absolutely!

Can we add them back to the list?

Yes, the hat rocks. But I wouldn't worry about any goofiness. When we're in full kit, a funny hat is our least concern. :?

Or when sleet's coming down sideways. I'd get one, too.

Some mornings last winter I found the cheerful audacity of the pink argyle was alone sufficient to keep me warm and dry.

I wouldn't wear our costume design when I'm off the bike (sorry, Paul, no pleather argyle bomber jacket for me), but wearing our kit in the cold rain actually wraps you in a warm little bubble of self-denial.

Just to clarify things baby-blue-argyle-boys....I suggest we have a jacket or sweatshirt that fits with our brand and colors but is a little more.....ah, normal.Like something you would where to Starbucks on your own and you wouldn' t hide in the bathroom if your boss or law partner came in. Such[and this is just a suggestion] a clothing item in the brown on our Jerseys with a very small embroidered "tripleshot cycling" and perhaps a small, tiny horizontal strip of argyle[or maybe not. Think a company or team jacket. Of course it would also be appropriate for before or after a cycling event. All the Pro teams have them!!! food for thought pc

Oo, I do like the brown. What about a 100% cotton long-sleeved T with some minimal artwork? Could be handy post- and pre-ride and cheap enough to attract a minimum order.

The only TS gear I have worn is the club jersey and it's pretty good (with an emphasis on the pretty), and I am not familiar with Hayman clothing. Having said that, I don't mind paying a bit more to gain better quality (isn't that what dura ace is about) and to support a BC manufacturer. This is a link to Hayman's website for those who may be interested.

Hey Lister, is this the same Mr. Hayman?

I really like the TS brown long sleeve T-shirt idea. A hoodie might also be popular. Champion has one:

Yup. Great clothes. Sadistic tour guide too.

Sounds good to me. How about a nice wool or wool -like retro one like this?

Maybe I am not the only one who needs help deciphering the various jersey options. Can someone help me understand the difference? I know the race cut is a better option for me but WTF is the Elite Pro Jersey?

CS Elite Pro Jersey (..."for serious racers only")
CS Short Sleeve tech Lite Summer Jersey (race cut)
Sleeveless Tech or Tech Lite Summer Jersey ( I assume it has bare shoulders?)

Elite Pro Jersey: http://champ-sys.com/custom-cs-elite-jersey.html
It's $100 and really tight

Lite jersey is a lighter fabric

Sleeveless is a faux pas.

1. Any chance of adding the fleece knee or leg warmers to the order? My fleece arm warmers are my single favourite piece of TS/CS kit. They're perfectly warm... and yet, cool. :o I know we've had trouble hitting the minimums in the past, but I know there's outstanding demand for knee/leg warmers -- and we've grown since our last winter order.

2. Who has the lycra or fleece shoe covers and what do you have to say about them? Is there any waterproofing? Or is just about keeping the wind off your wet tootsies? Does fleece really do anything if it's that far away from your skin?

PayPal, Interac email transfer or cheque, likely to me.

There have been questions about the availability of some items. Knee warmers, for example, aren't included on the list because they are out of the material for them. This may apply to a few items that you don't see on the list.

Again, please pass the word to all about the gear order. There has not been a lot of uptake so far and I don't want people to miss it. We are going to move pretty quick so that we can hopefully get the gear before winter is over.

Hi Geoff...

I've tried following the link you listed at the beginning of this gear order thread, but I keep getting dumped back to the forum index. Can you please re-post the full URL to the gear order site? I'm off to Europe for a few weeks on Saturday (including some mountain biking in northern Italy!), so I will likely place my order via Pay-pal in the next few days.

Many thanks for organizing this.

John D
