Wow, everybody brought their A game last night. The winning time from last year would only have got you 9th place this year.

Re: Neild Rd
Adam won the B race (+10 points!) and Bruce almost won the A race. Have a look at the photo - doesn't look like Bruce held anything back. Dylan was another who took a lot of time off his previous best. Like Roland said, the pace was impressive. Under 9 seconds used to be very good - still is, but it's a crowded region of the time-sheets now and it wasn't before.

Wow, those photos sure make me wish I had gone out to the hill climb The great thing about the photos is how they capture the joy and fun of cycling uphill - you can sure see how all the riders are enjoying themselves to the fullest.
To those courageous (read: foolish) enough to go attack the hill last night I can only say well done!

Re: Neild Rd
Josh improved by 0.1 of a second. That's amazingly consistent.
compete: 1620, from Fr. compéter "be in rivalry with"
Re: Neild Rd
...Josh led us home at 38-40 kms an hour last night...I don't think his goal for the climb was consistency
¡Hasta la victoria siempre!
Re: Neild Rd
After you left us Dylan, we did 46km/h along the highway! Once we finally stopped at the Goose, Josh told us that he just wanted to ride home on his own D'oh, Josh, you should have told us that when we started ...
Re: Neild Rd
hehe
Yeah, sorry about the ride home guys. I wasn't impressed at all with my performance last night (to say the least) Was actually hoping for at least 30 seconds faster. Most of it was mental (couldn't get my Bruce face on), combined with too many days on the bike the last three weeks.
I actually didn't know anyone was on my wheel until I turned onto Veterans Parkway. I saw one shadow behind me, but just assumed Shawn had jumped on when I passed him.

Let me do a bit of editing for Josh:
...I actually didn't know anyone was on my wheel until I turned onto Veterans Parkway. I saw one shadow behind me, but just assumed PETER had jumped on as he is such an animal I cant get away. I heard him quietly laughing to himself that I would even consider being able to drop him. But he was really kind to my ego by not blowing past me as he can so easily do.
there you go Josh all fixed up for you.
