Re: TTT
I had a blast. Alan is an animal on a TT bike. Gavin is one tough SOB.
In a direct AB comparision in my last two TTT's with him, Peter is much faster without his brake rubbing.

Re: TTT
I had lots of fun!
I was ready to ride alone when I found a partner on the start line, just on time.
It was tough, we never had enough time to recover in the back, but we managed to keep a very smooth pace.
We finished it in 1:53 and I'm pretty glad about that.
Thanks to all of you guys, it was an awesome day.

This looks like it was a heap of fun. Almost as much fun as hosting 17 people for brunch with an acute whisky-tasting hangover. Congrats to all teams -- and especially to the organizers and volunteers.
I've got to say, I'm gobsmacked by the age / speed / fitness dynamic shown in the results. It's so encouraging to have found a sport where I'm a baby and could still be getting better 30 years from now. All you old(er) guys & gals are truly inspiring!

Re: TTT
I didn't actually lie about my age--told 'em I'd be turning 47 this year. I have no idea why I'm down as 45. I'm sure the two years wouldn't have been enough to pull us up in the standings... but I like the idea of doing what it takes (lying about our ages) to gain an advantage in future time trials on those old dudes.
Re: TTT
Hey Matteo,
I was your teammate. You did a fantastic race...you are a natural om the bike.
By the way, check our time against the other teams....twice my prediction friend.
Our team should have been Grand Torino!
Cheers,
Dave M

Hey Dave, nice to find you on the forum!
When you first told me we were doing well, I was so tired that I was sure I couldn't keep that pace for the other half of the race. But we did it! Thanks for encouraging me all the time.
