Given that Bastion is coming and there aren't that many days left, I am offering to do a cornering session at Windsor Park Thursday am. Probably again next Monday and Thursday too. Only if it's dry.

Meet at the Pavilion at 6:00. We'll go over basics of line, speed adjustment, weight distribution, for newer riders, and then work up through riding alone, in pairs, in a paceline and two and three abreast. Riders who have done other cornering sessions can start with the more advanced stuff. We can add some leadouts and some tamed-down sprints out of corners to simulate responding to attacks or accelerations.

We need people to mind the corners and let us know if any traffic is coming. We can take turns doing this. No experience necessary. All you'll do is hold up your hand if something's coming.

Experienced riders are particularly welcome to come train and act as pacers, and allow the newer riders to learn how to follow a wheel in a corner without cooking themselves pulling.

We will do cornering stuff only if it's dry. But Matteo and I have our fenders on and will do a different ride if it's wet. The Windsor Park pavilion at 6:00.
