Whos in this week?

Should we add 15 minutes and move it out to lands end instead of wain? or does that screw up too many peoples getting home time?

I plan on riding tomorrow - though I am expecting to get shelled by Sidney at which point I may nip across the highway and jump on the train as it races past me on Interurban just prior to the sprint.

I'm in, and I could do either Land's End or Wain.

I'm in and I'm OK for the Land's End option.

I'm in for tomorrow. I have to check with mission control to see if an extra 15 minutes is allowable.

AWESOME ride today guys. We had me, tony, dylan, and shawn doing a 4 man rotating paceline working hard on the front while the other guys sat on, and came up to rotate through once in a while when they were feeling it. Great workout for everyone, and the group was able to pretty much stay together the whole ride. We added lands end to the route to get it up to the 100km mark. Judging from the sprint, it looks like Lister is finding his spring form.

Thanks to everyone who came out.

Really nice way to train as a group with varying abilities while ensuring everyone gets a great workout. Really enjoyed my 1/2 of the ride. Thanks

Yes, it was 'nice', in a drain-you-completely and make-you-dream-of-doughnuts-roast beef-and-french fries sorta way.

Thanks to the Sidney Express with four locomotives, Josh, Sean, Dylan and Tony.

PS Josh, that wasn't a sprint, that was Tony jumping onto your wheel in front of me so fast he created a vacuum into which I was drawn involuntarily. I couldn't help it in my hypoglycemic state.

So this is what a sufferfest...er... hammerfest is all about. As Lister said, it was great having the four headed locomotive pulling the train along. Coming into Sidney we averaged between 39 and 40 km/h for over 15k.

Thanks for tolerating a few of us hanging on the back.

I've got to keep experimenting and figure out food while cycling because I bonked again after about 70 - 75 km.

Just a note to Mike Lawless - if you're not at the back, it's okay to swerve around fresh horse sh*t while riding single file. You don't have to ride through it.

Yes, that was a great ride. Ditto on the thanks to the 4 locomotives. I thought the rotating pace line at the front worked really well and allowed us cabooses to take the occasional pull without getting shelled.
