I'm somewhat interested in trying the some of the C races and perhaps a Master's race but beyond having only tried one of the "learn to race series" at Western Speedway, have no other experience (cycle racing).
I'll try to make the meeting tonight.

Dang, got a velodrome association meeting I forgot about tonight. Sorry. If its over early I will swing by Johns place. (I'll call first John in case you're in bed for tomorrow.)

If there is interest, I don't mind organizing the drills I posted earlier (leadouts, breaks and chases) at Tuesday and Friday ride start points. I can bring caution tape for helmets too.

so how'd the meeting go?

To follow upon yesterday, I think that if anyone is feeling confident enough to go for the win in the Bs on Sunday they let the others know and go for it. I have a feeling that a lot of the other riders will be going in with a "it's the first race of the year, I'll just see how it goes" or "I'm not that fit yet" kind of attitude, and won't be gunning for a win. I say take the initiative, thin the herd in the last few laps and ride to win! Don't let a bunch sprint "just happen".

Who's racing in the Windsor crit this Sunday, more specifically in "C"?

Hey, sorry, maybe there was a change is schedule but this was showing the Windsor Crit this Sunday but the VCL schedule shows it as April 22nd. My mistake . Still, who's racing?
