Starting the list for the next Great Trail Adventure

Mostly nonsense. Also riding bicycles inappropriate for off road terrain, off road; GIFs

Greg F, the Great Trail counter clockwise would be epic and awesome.

Hey Greg - I would recommend going clockwise for a couple reasons. One, the climb out of Shawnigan up to the top of Goldstream Heights is really nasty. Not bad going down, but going up is a female dog. Two, probably the best part of the day was the beer and pizza break in Cobble Hill. Having the bulk of the ride behind us and only 16 km''s to the ferry was awesome. Have a blast!

Good points 'Wonger', the pizza and beer stop in Coble Hill was a lot of fun.

In life, there are some universal truisms:

1. Happy wife, happy life.

2. Don't follow Rolf down uncharted singletrack

3. Listen to Wonger.

So! We'll plagiarize/honor JT's previous ride plan, aiming to depart Alpha Starbucks at 0730-sharpish on Saturday, 16 June. More details to follow (or just read JT's post, which is what I'll cut & paste, albeit with far more advanced & nuanced gif-agery).

Happy wife, Happy life eh??? Or should I say huh????

Let's be honest here. I told you exactly what Wonger did having suffered up that brute of a climb myself. You're just worried you won't be able to match my strava times

Hey, I resemble that comment!

But, when riding cyclocross...

Hi Greg, good call going clockwise. The main trick is getting onto Riverside Road. Watch for a little spur off the main trial just past the Kinsol Tressel. These instructions should help,

... and note that Prima Strada opens at 11:30 am.
