Is there anybody driving over on Friday that would have room for my bike? I don't need a ride, just my bike. I could drop it off tonight.

Hi Roland, I can fit one more in my truck. Give me a call I may be able to pass by yours and pick it up.

I think we have room for your bike, and it might be easier for Hugh to carry it as we are going to the same hotel.

I'd say "no" to fenders too, despite the weather office predicting a "70% chance of rain" on Saturday.
What the hell do they know? they get it wrong all the time anyway...

I'd say some sort of wet weather protection--gloves, booties, raincoat, umbrella, etc would all be good cause it's also likely to be chilly.
Dave Spiers is dropping off his truck at Whistler on Friday and flying back to Vancouver. He's staying downtown and I'm staying in New West at my brother's bat cave. Don't include us in the meal numbers in Whistler as we're coming back to Victoria after the ride. Sunday is the Mount Doug Hill climb.

my cell is 250 888 7992
dave's is: 250 818 5819
cheers, Alan C.

FYi there's a typo in the GF newsletter and website about bus transport to Vancouver Friday at 4:00. It's info@ridebooker.com, not info@riderbooker.com. $45 from the Whistler taxi loop. It's going for sure though.

Hey GranFondo people,

Adam K and I plan to catch the 3pm ferry, leaving UVic at about 2:05pm. I am not yet sure who's driving. If it's me, there's room for more - call (250-598-5949) if you need a ride. Unless Adam has a Miata, there's probably going to be space no matter who drives.

Dave, I'll drop by with a bag of dry clothes this evening.

Cheers,

John

Here we go, and almost on the wrong day.
