CycleOps Turbo Trainer

Post by iross »

We've got a CycleOps Fluid 2 (?) turbo to sell. About $400 new, you can have it for $40. It will give you many hours of turboing "pleasure"...

Just in case you don't know what one of these little torture devices looks like, there's a picture here.

Cheers,

Ian.

Roland, If for some insane reason you decide you don't really need that fluid trainer, I'd be happy to take it off your hands for a whopping $50 netting a $10 profit!

It's yours, Roland. And yes, $40. We're in that "dispose of stuff so you don't have to pay to ship it half way round the world" mode. And I knew it would be a lovely TS person who would buy it, so was happy to let it go cheap. If I'd known it would be you that got in first though, I'd have asked for more...

What else are you getting rid of? I'll trade it for a French-English dictionary that I used in high school.

A car. Rita suggested we sell it for $50, but I think that's a bit cheap.

Well, first you need to raise the interest of a potential buyer, and then add $4350 to it. Btw, ...

Rolf, if you're looking for a bargain, seriously, you can have our car for $4400. It's a steal. And much more fun than the turbo trainer.

Wow. Thanks, I think. Doesn't it run on rotten rutabagas or some other morally defensible internal combustion alternative? :P Actually, that's the exact vehicle I almost bought when I was shopping for our aubergine Sienna. But one vehicle is more than enough.

Could you instead exercise moralsuasion on Roland so he can recognize he abuses his forum administrator status to snag the good deals!? Rollie: let me know when you're going to post that trainer on UsedVic and I'll make you an offer...
