With 1085 posts, is Lister really the king of the forum? Maybe not.
Looks like it's Josh, who averages 1.2 posts a day. Spinnakers with 2 posts in 2 days doesn't really count, and then it's Lister at 0.93 posts per day.
How, this still may not be a fair comparison, since the forum wasn't as active in the early days, which may be negatively affecting Lister's posting average.
Perhaps I should only count posts in the last year, but that sounds like too much work for now. Maybe if I get ever more bored.

Maybe you could graph - what time of day Roland has too much time on his hands.
it looks like 9:10pm on fridays Roland has far too much time on his hands

You guys are so lucky I have way too much free time.
Doing yearly stats, I can only go back to 2009 since older posts were purged from the database, and still I'm not sure how accurate 2009 are.
2010 post counts put Lister firmly in the lead. Josh is second.
2010:
2009 puts me in the lead, which is suspect, I'm going to blame that on flaky data.
2009:
Stats show in 2010, new posters really came on strong. Josh, Sylvan, Wonger, Jeremy, Shawnc & Gav_Eaton were all new to the top 10. Lister really turned it on, almost doubling his post count. I improved my posting, but not enough, dropping two spots. Most impressive is Peter's consistency, year to year posting only varying by 2 posts.

Do you really even have to ask?shawnc wrote:How about total number of words per person?
I can't believe I posted more than Peter last year. I have almost nothing useful to say about cycling.
