Interest in doing another Race kit gear order?
I've had a couple people talk to me about doing another order in time to get the gear for spring racing.
I'd be more than happy to do another order if there's interest.
If we could get five jerseys we can do it, but the prices will be higher. If we get 10 jerseys, all the pricing would be the same as the last order.
If you'd be interested, post on this thread. If there looks to be enough interest, I'll open an order.
Cheers
Josh

Count me in, Josh. I would be interested in a couple of Jerseys (one long and one short sleeve) and a couple of bibs. I would also like to canvass interest in skinsuits. I imagine the minimum order would be 5?

If we got the basic 5 short-sleeve jersey minimum, all other main clothing items, including skinsuits can then be ordered as one-offs. The only things that need minimum quantities are accesories, such as arm/leg warmers, hats, booties, gloves, etc.
Would you mind asking Carly, Ryan? I know she didn't even know the last order was happening.

I'm in. I need one of the fully pimped out sealskin and mink LS skinsuits for 2011 'cross posing.

I can always use another skinsuit. Which style should I get this time?

I would be interested.. I think.. now, 'race kit' what does that mean? If one doesn't intend on racing, is that no big deal?
Other question.. what does one wear on a day like today where rain might come but it might not, and then we get drenched? Is there something in the Tripleshot gear order that is 'the' thing to have for winter riding in Victoria (albeit might be late for this year)?

I'm in as well - I kept it pretty slim on the first order and would like to add some more stuff now.
And now I'm itching for a 'man-child mesh skin-suit'! Who's with me?!

@#$& this 'work' stuff, I think I'll just go pro...

Paula: I've found the key to comfortable rain-riding is to focus more on wind-resistance, than waterproofing. The only exception might be your feet. Wet feet suck.
I rode today with the Wind Guard Vest and it was perfect. I wore it over a short-sleeved jersey, arm-warmers and a quick-dry, fitted T-shirt. I find it's kind of pointless trying to stay super dry because the compromise of getting something that perfectly seals out the rain and spray is that it starts raining on the inside when you're chasing Peter's wheel! The vest simply blocks the wind and stops your torso from getting chilled, which is the most important thing. It's also very breathable on the back. If it had stayed dry, I probably would have taken the vest off half way through the ride (it folds up very small).
Today was relatively warm ( 7 or 8 ). If I see lower than 5, I usually opt for the ThermoShield Winter Jacket which is snug-fitting, fleece-lined, windstopping and I can wear just a single jersey underneath (another base-layer if it's below 0). It doesn't keep me particularly dry in a downpour, but it's always warm.
Oh, and "race kit" is available to everyone, as your purchase supports TripleShot's racing program.

I'd be in for a jersey and a pair of bib shorts.
