Renfrew Ride

Post by Josh.E »

In the words of Sylvan:

This one isn't even stupid. Ryder said the Renfrew rides made him what he is. It won't make us what he is, but it'll make us better versions of what we are.

There's talk of a renfrew ride in the next couple weeks. Thought I'd start a fresh thread to talk about it.

I'm away between December 20 and January 2, so the only time I could do it in the near future is this Saturday. But if everyone else wants to do it on the 27th, don't feel too bad for me because I'll be in Mexico 8)

I'd only do 100 miles on Saturday and that would be prep for the full ride on the 27th.

I was thinking 100 miles on Saturday too, not the full Renfrew ride. But I'm definitely going to do the longer ride in the spring. There's even a turn-around loop at the end of the road in Port Renfrew! Pretty convenient, I'd say.

 EPIC ! I love the concept it's the scheduling I'll have to manage. Put me down as an 'interested' party for the 27th.

Ok 100 miles this Saturday leaving Cook St. Starbucks at 6. Lets do a Sufferfest and Killer B ride out and back. We can pick a logical turnaround for the Killer B riders or anyone that gets dropped etc (if there is enough interest) so we all get back together before the end.

8) ?

put me down for the sufferfest/killer B ride. I will only have time for 70 - 90 km.

If we head straight out Sooke Rd, Sooke Chevron is 40 km out. Jordan River is just past 70 km. If we go Happy Valley/Rocky Point/Gillespie, the Gillespie stretch is 40-45 km and Jordan River is 85 km.

He come anywhere near me Ima pop a cap in his ass. Kno'm sayin'?

The increasingly legendary and mysterious Manchild rode the IRC ride tonight with his cat 1 buddy Marcel. Marcel did most of the work all night with effortless long pulls, so I might have enough left in the tank to ride in the morning. The sleep patterns have been poor, hence no Tripleshotting this week.
