Brian,

That sounds pretty good to me. I think we are just trying to figure out dates for a family holiday late June/early July before the kids are off to camp but I am keen on the idea of the IMC route Saturday and the GF on Sunday.

Yeah they missed me too. I heard they bought that system, so I wonder if they can afford to change it.

What was the safety issue? I found it pretty safe, both near the front pre-flat and back with the masses later.

Not signing up. Want to try something else.

Safety issue is the amount of cones that were knocked over, and the course dangerously close to drainage grates that caused a very serious crash, or two.. the cones with the black bases... i.e. cones that are orange tubes mounted on a black rubber base -- the base is large enough that riders were rolling over them, turning them into weebles that wobble but don't fall down until the rider behind runs into it. Normal conical cones would have been a lot safer, and a course that is not so close to dangerous grates would be better too.

I heard they're changing the course to stay along the edge of the Upper Levels instead of in the center where the drains were.

This leads to something that would be useful for the club.. an online race/ride calendar that we could post to. We could do this with Google calendar. In fact, I've created a google calendar for the club rides. The address is, in iCal format:

Check the narrow mountain roads. http://vimeo.com/17059920

Cool. Just wish there was a step to avoid filling up the calendar with the same repeating rides. Or is that just not hitting save? Can it be a calendar, with say, a monthly view, that you can then pick the rides that you want to add to your outlook calendar?
