Hartland conditions?

Post by Lister Farrar »

Anyone heard how Hartland is? With the 'cross off, I need to plan something else for the high school group. Is it clear/muddy? Or icy/snowy?

Lister,

I have a friend who is doing 5 hours at Hartland today. I'll call him once he's done to see how slippery it is.

BTW, I think your computer clock is still on daylight savings.

Edit: Actually I think the website's clock is on DLS, as my post reads 4:15, when it's 3:15. Not really important I know, but what if a forum member needs an alibi in the future?

You can fix that. Click USER CONTROL PANEL in the top menu, then BOARD PREFERENCES, and de-select the DST option.

Conditions aren't good. 3 to 4 inches of snow. Very slow going but it was still fun. It took us two and a half hours to do Who's Your Daddy and Little Face. We had first tracks on a few trails.

Cabin fever is really bad. I'm totally in if it is an open invitation for whatever crossy thing you decide to get up to tomorrow.

Roland, awesome picture. Doesn't seem real. It's only November for crying out loud!

My friend found the same as you. Too slow and slippery so he rode the goose to leachtown instead.

Lister, what is your thinking re high-schoolers on snowy trails?

I've heard the South end of the dump is more rideable. Today we might go in at the end of Woodridge Pl
