Thanks to those of you who stopped for me this am after flatting twice (Actually three times if you count the one I got after leaving you guys, but whos counting?). Apparently I blew out the side wall on my new tires, not sure how that happened. Who lent me the tube for the ride home? I'd like to pay them back and in my frustrated state I forgot the fellow's name.

Hole in the sidewall, or new tube caught under the bead and popped out there?
I usually inflate the tube slightly so it's round and less likely to get caught under the bead as you put the tire back on. Doesn't always work tho, if the tire's tight and you need to deflate the tube to wrestle it on.

Steve, I think John D was saying something at coffee about karma and payback after you helped him on his 3-flat Sunday.

I stopped by and saw Simon at cycles west and we figured it was due to the brake pads being a little elevated and hitting the wheel.
Thanks Rolf but there was a second fellow who lent me a tube, would like to pay him back....

Steve;
Glad you made it home...eventually! I think tube #3 came from a fellow named Kevin(?), one of the two new guys in green. I hadn't seen him before.
