"Racing Kit" Gear Order

Post by Josh.E »

Hey Everyone

http://tripleshotcycling.servebbs.com/g ... /index.php

The gear order for the new Tripleshot Spinnakers Racing kit is now up.
Nows your chance to show your support for racing as a team in Tripleshot and to sport the new "Spinnakers" kit
It will close next Friday (November 12), so get your order in by then.

A couple of points.
-The "CDN" prices that show up on the order form reflect the markup to raise money to go towards racing related things in Tripleshot, not the exchange rate (as that is at par right now)
-If a clothing piece you would like does not show up in the order form, it means there is currenty no artwork for it, so it is not being offered in the interest of achieving minimum quantites for other items. If there is something you would really like to have, and it is not there, if we can rally enough people to meet the minimum quantity, we can add it.
- If you want something completely different from the champ-sys site, like a rowing suit, running singlet, or a casual jacket, email me (erick370@telus.net). Most of those things have no minimums and can be added.
- tights and knickers are only available with solid black from just above the knee down, no custom colours. If you order these, they will just look like you're wearing shorts with black knee or leg warmers
- for accesories, "winter stuff" is black with artwork: includes leg warmers, winter gloves, neoprene booties. this is to try to hide the dirt. "non-winter stuff" is white. knee warmers and lycra shoe covers
-ARM warmers are full argyle, just like the long sleeve jersey and jackets.

Payment:
I take personal cheques, made out to "Josh Erickson", or you can pay through paypal
The payment deadline will be tuesday, Nov 16th.

Cheers
Josh

Thanks very much for all the time and effort you've put into the design and on managing the order itself, Josh. :)

Will you also accept payment by Interac e-mail?

Hi Josh,

Question on the arm/leg/knee warmers and shoe covers. Your artwork shows cream color and black. Are we supposed to choose which color we want on the order? I'd like black for all three. Will this affect min. orders on these selections?

Also, no shoe cover sizing on the form. Is this one-size-fits-all? If not, I need a Large size shoe cover.

thanks,

Brad

Hi Brad

-Arm warmers are cream with argyle, same as the long sleeve jersey arms.
- knee warmers are cream, as are lycra shoe covers.
- leg warmers are black, as are winter booties and winter gloves, to not show the mud as much

Each of these items has individual minimums, so, in the interest of meeting those minimums, they're only being offered in those colors.

Only the one one size is offered for the shoe covers. I have no idea what range of shoe sizes they will work for. Anyone with some champ-sys booties want to chime in?

To complement the kit, De Feet has "Kilt Kulture" socks. However, these socks are white/gray/black. I wonder if we could get semi-custom or custom in our team colors?

Hey Josh (and all).... greetings from Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.

I like the new stuff. I'm still not sure that it passes the ultimate test of wearing to the Langford Tim Horton's at 7 am on a weekday without getting your lights punched out, but I like it (no offence to those who may frequent Timmy's at 7 am). I placed an order today, but I'm not likely to be home until May or June. Could you give my kit to Peter or Galen for safekeeping until I get back?

Thanks

I'm getting "Mens Long Sleeve Jersey Lightweight CS Tech (Club Cut - Relaxed American Fit)". There's also "Mens Long Sleeve Jersey Lightweight CS Tech (Race Cut - Fitted Euro Fit)" and "Womens Long Sleeve Jersey Lightweight CS Tech". I think those would be the long-sleeve jersey options right there. Then you get to choose size and zipper style. I get full zip because I think it offers more Euro style (more important) and more functionality (relatively less important). You can also get the "CS Tech Fleece Jacket (Heavyweight Long Sleeve Fleece-Lined Jersey)" which is down below in the jacket section. I want a balaclava but I don't think ChampSys has one.

It's the one's listed as "Long Sleeve Jersey CS Tech" This is a lightweight "cool summer day" jersey
There are 3 versions:
- mens race cut (slim euro fit)
- mens club cut (relaxed 'american' fit)
- womens

for sizing info, look here
http://champ-sys.com/custom/cycling/size-chart
and here:

If you want something warmer, look at the different jackets:

According to the gear order page, fleece arm/knee/leg warmers can be ordered in size XL, but there is no XL listed on the ChampSys size chart.

Is this a mistake?

edit: the order form I have from champ-sys does show XL as an option for all arm and leg warmers, so it looks like they are available.

Josh.

Can you post the size information for the XL arm/leg/knee warmers?

Pretty sure I'm a L, but want to make sure.

Thanks

Hey Josh I'm not quite sure which jersey to order. I went to the order sheet and there are a lot of choices. Which do you think I should go with.

Al,
I don't have any size information beyond what's on the site. All I have is an order spreadsheet that shows xl as an option.
I would guess you are a large too for warmers. The XL's are apparently freakishly long.

Brian, I'd go with a club cut jersey. Maybe an XXL?? Hard to say. Take your measurements and use this chart.

I just donated my L leg warmers to Brian Elworthy as I'm now a preening flashypants in my new CS Neo / CS Tech Fleece bib tights with Endurance chamois (so nice).

Brian's a tall drink of water, so ask him how the L warmers fit...
