HOLIDAY PARTY - PLEASE READ AND RSVP!!

Post by Sarah W »

Hello festive TripleShot Riders and significant others!

Come join the holiday festivities and chat without being out of breath at the TripleShot Holiday Party at HMCS Malahat. The details are as follows:

Who: All 2010 members of TripleShot plus a guest. Sorry no minors (We tried but failed. We will do better next year).

Where: HMCS Malahat’s Wardroom - located at 20 Huron Street (near Shoal Point)

Date: Saturday, Dec 4th

Time: Doors open at 6pm, AGM starts at 6:30pm and eating begins at 7pm. Please try to arrive between 6 and 6:30 as everyone has to be escorted through the facility to the Wardroom and Mike L. (our host for the evening) doesn’t want to spend the whole party walking up and down stairs… If you are going to be late please speak to Mike Lawless or Peter Lawless in advance so we know when to send someone down to get you.

Food: It is potluck so bring one of your favourite dishes. Please mark your dish so people know what is in it as there may be allergies (gluten, dairy, poultry!) or preferences (vegan, vegetarian) to accommodate. Plates and cutlery will be provided but please bring a cup/mug/glass so we don’t kill the environment anymore than we have to.

Drinks: Spinnakers will be providing 4 kegs of beer (THANK YOU SPINNAKERS). If you want something else, bring it along and we will have coolers with ice where you can store it.

Dress: Casual with argyle encouraged.

What is happening?: We will host our first AGM as a society. There will be a slate of board members presented, elections held, awards given and a few announcements made. Your exec has solicited door prizes from local businesses so we will draw for them throughout the night.

Admission: Your admission is one non-perishable item for the Mustard Seed Food Bank. We are going to make a donation on behalf of TripleShot.

PLEASE RSVP by responding to this post. Please indicate the following information:

- your name
- how many people coming with you
- if you have a large cooler you can bring
- if you cannot arrive between 6pm-6:30pm what time you expect to grace us with your presence
