Proud Papa shots

Post by Brian S »

As many of you know, I was off to California last week to watch the PanPacific Championships. Weird, to call it that, as Pan Pacs now includes every country outside of Europe. Amazing performances, on many fronts, by some of our Canadian swimmers, as well as a demonstration of how deep the US is in the pool (the infamous Michael Phelps didn't make finals one night). Here are a couple of shots of my rookie Nick. One coming off the blocks of the 200 freestyle, and the second waiting for the start of a relay. His biggest impression of the meet and the whole California experience? "It was all great. Dad, we should open a Chipotle grill here in Victoria."

You must be so proud!
"It was all great. Dad, we should open a Chipotle grill here in Victoria."
I've been saying this for years! Unfortunately they don't franchise (yet).
