Peter unloaded an unbelievable quantity of watts from a long way out before every sprint and completely exploded the pack each time. Shawn was the only one with substantial resources remaining after the last lap shredding in Beacon Hill and took the final sprint all alone, with much class, befitting an Alce Elegante.
Fast box laps were 41.9 and 41.2 km/h. Beacon Hill laps were 39.4, 40.5, 43.9.

Is true, in fact it was so many watts I not only sared the other fellows but I almost scared myself.
Re: Tues Aug 10
I was not just scared, I was petrified.
I find that I'm often at my point of maximum suffering as we come up the hill at Clover Point. Nothing like a paceline to keep you motivated! After that I'm able to recover pretty quickly for the laps at Beacon Hill. It was so nice to not face a gale-force wind this time!
Great ride this morning everyone.
