Socks

Post by AlW »

Further to Paul C's comment about socks in the "Printing..." post.

Would anyone be interested in these?

Quality wise, I think they're pretty good but the color isn't the greatest for us. They do, however, have a custom program. They can put the coffee mug, and optionally team name, on a sock of any color in either acrylic or wool.

Depending on price they are a nice novelty sock but considering the enthusiasm about the last order and fall coming I bet we could put together another order soon including 50 plus pairs of socks . I think ts blue with name of club and logo..if an argyle strip is possible that would look sharp too. What do other members think ? regards, Paul Christopher [ I guess I am the opposite of Christopher Paul from IRC!]

I'd be into these. I ordered a couple pairs of the ChampSys ones and while they seem like decent socks, the beige design is really muted, making them the exception to the rest of our flamboyant costume.

Wouldn't it make more sense to change or add a sock design to the fall order to keep our influence with Champion, than to go to a different manufacturer?

Not necessarily. Other manufacturers make waaaay better stuff even though it might cost more. And supporting smaller Canadian operations is always something to consider.
