Saturday Morning Goldstream Heights?

Post by Josh.E »

Sylvan and I were talking about this earlier this week. Anybody be up for doing the Goldstream Heights ride this saturday (31st) morning?
http://connect.garmin.com/activity/28192242

It's about 110km door to door, with around 1700 meters of climbing (close to 1 1/2 mt washingtons). Last time we did it in the spring, It took us 4 hours 9 minutes of riding time, stops not included. You end up in a cul de sac about 150 vertical meters above the highway on the malahat. The view is worth the climb.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Monday could be an option, too. I'd be in for either. Hmmm, Goldstream Heights Saturday, Hurricane Ridge Monday, that might work.

I'd be in for this if it's Saturday, although I'm not sure how long I'll be able to hang on with you guys. What time are you meeting and where?

It is Saturday, 6 am, Douglas St. Starbucks across from Mayfair Mall. If/when we split up climbing the malahat, we'll regroup at Serious Coffee before Mill Bay. Then it's group riding to the climb, regrouping again at the top.

In, but I may have to turn around before the end due to time constraints.

Would anybody rather do a BC Cup race at Mt Washington?

Darn, sorry Roland, I just decided not to do this one. (BC Cup). Logan (my son) will be going with Steve Lund and a few other VCA boys, so I can avoid the drive this time around. Are you going to the Whistler BC Cup next weekend?

Sorry to hijack this thread.
