gear swap - purchase

Post by leftcoaster »

I ordered an extra large wind jacket, and for me it will, well, catch a lot of wind. Does anyone have a size large they would be willing to swap, or alternately a size large they wish to sell?

Also, a big thanks to Roland for managing the gear order. My hat's (helmet) off to you!

I too need to swap some gear. I have medium bib shorts, there to small, and an xl race cut jersey that is to big. If anyone would like to trade their large shorts for medium, and large race cut for xl let me know.

Brian,

Do you have any concept of your size??? Or even what humans generally look like? Just so I get this straight you race BIKES right? And you ordered a XL jersey and M shorts???? What the heck kind of cyclist looks like that?

Dont buy more gear get a mirror & a tape measure!

I'm surprised medium shorts don't fit you Bryan. I have 3 pairs of champion systems medium bibs. I did find there is definitely quite a bit of variation from one pair to another. A medium club cut jersey will fit pretty similarly to a large race cut, as well. So that might be another jersey option for you.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Hi Bryan,

I have not picked up my gear yet as I have been out of town. I am fearing that I ordered on the small side. I ordered L shorts and a L jersey, but I am likely more of a XL kinda guy. I may be able to trade jerseys.

Yes Peter, only moments after trying on my jersey I realized, now that i'm getting older,my once muscular physic is no more. As for the shorts, its just the damn height!.

Josh, the shorts fit its mostly the shoulder straps that are the problem, I mite take them in to be adjusted im thinking

Mr. S, Oli may currently be trading me but ill get back to you if he doesn't

Thanks you guys

I don't have any TS shorts and would be willing to buy someone's L or M size bibs, depending on the fit.

Bryan,

I also have a problem with the bibs. I take a size L, which fit great in the waist, but are too short in the shoulder giving you a permanent wedgie. Solved the problem by adding 4" to the straps. I used some material from an old pair of bibs, but I figure anything stretchy would do the trick.

Although all my jerseys are Medium, I inexplicably ordered a Large Wind Guard Jacket. I will trade for a Medium or sell the large for whatever I paid for it (I'll have to check the order...). Too bad, it's a nice jacket.

Hey Barry,
I'll take the large windjacket. I had ordered an xl and it's too large. The gear order had listed the windjacket at $54 and change. I'll take it for $55.

I can pick it up today.

I also got a Large wind vest and it's a little roomy. Anybody got a Medium to trade? (I wear Large jerseys, but race cut, which I guess are like normal Mediums.)

Does anyone have a medium race cut jersey they'd like to sell, or is there a spare in the club stock I could buy? I ordered a small, and while it technically fits I think it's more suited for a nine year old girl :?

I would like to trade my L race cut 3/4 zip jersey for an XL.

Or, I would like to buy an XL jersey if the trade does not work out.

PM me or call 250-592-3546.

If I ever get back to racing weight I'll get race cut instead of club cut, but my new gear wouldn't fit better if it was custom-tailored. :P
