Tuesday A+ ride

Post by Plawless »

yowsers! Emile is a machine. Somone needs to cut him in half and see what's inside because it sure aint human! Also great work by Adam (the younger) for holding his fire in the sprint until the end! A thing of beauty! Well Done. And how can we not comment on the heroics of Adam (the larger) in even making out of the house on his wife's birthday plus while she is PAST her due date for baby #1!!!!

Hard steady pace today. We still need a bit of work on keeping the pulls steady as we each get to the front and not accellerating. Also as soon as a break happens we need to organize and not try to chase as individuals. Having said that we did both of those things pretty darn good. So kudos to the rest of us!

I had our average from the start of the Box on Lap 1 to the sprint at Beacon Hill at 39.4!!!!! No wonder I had a funny coppery taste in my mouth the whole ride!

Yeah, thanks for letting me interlope for almost a whole non-sprint lap after arriving late. :? I hope I didn't throw you off, Ramsey, when I pulled out (heart in my throat).

You guys are ..F.. ..A.. ..S.. ..T.. ! The chasm between A+ and A is growing, to the point where -- if we're committed to the ordinal nomenclature -- the current A ride is going to have to grow up and call itself a "B".

Anyway, it's really great having something to strive for. Here's hoping we have enough riders when the cold rain thins our ranks to keep the insanity up through the winter.

I thought Peter's comment in the parking lot captured Adam's situation perfectly: "So it'll be an only child then?"

I think I heard a whining noise coming from Emile's bottom bracket. Did he have to take his bike through X-ray after the ride?
