Saturday Ride (june 26)

Great ride this morning, group of about 15 or so of us rode up to matticks together, then we were going to try to stay together for a paceline up to sidney, but I told Bow that I wouldn't ditch her if she dropped off the paceline, so at about lockside we broke off the back into a group of 4, me Bow, Brian, and Marcus. We did our own little pace line up to Sidney, durring that little bit of the ride I heard the best line of the day, as Brian pulls in behind me for a draft he was heard to say "wow this is what a draft feels like!", I guess the rest of our club is a little to small for him to feel any affect. Then with about 1km until sidney I pulled out a little sprint and couldn't shake Brian (he's gonna be an animal on the bike very soon!). Then the B's and A's split up in Sidney, we made our way down to west sannich, we kept up a good pace for the rest of the ride until Interurban where we ramped it up for the sprint, Norm and Eric S lead most of the way (with Bow staying right up with us, Great Job Bow!!!) then on the last little rise before the finish Chris F and Hugh came blowing by me only to get held up by a truck before they could finish the sprint for the win. After Coffee, me Norm, Simon, and Marcus spun the waterfront again, (my legs do not like King George after 90km!!) Got home right as my odometer hit 100km.

Thanks for another great Saturday ride everyone, it's becoming my favorite ride of the week.

Oh and I almost forgot, Matteo, great to have one last ride with you. Best of luck in Italy!! I'm fully expecting to see you in the pro's one day in the future!

Good ride today!
After the group split I sat on the Hammerheads' draft for most of the ride.
Josh dragged us up a steep hill somewhere and then I insisted to climb the observatory.
