When puttering around the city, who hasn't looked at Mount Doug and thought, "I'd really like to climb that six times in a row as the sun comes up"?
Well, now's your chance! Join me for Mt Doug hill repeats on Sunday morning at 7:00 in the Churchill Dr. parking lot.
Hopefully I won't be excommunicated for causing the Sunday faithful to stray from the straight and narrow path of the rec ride...
Anyone interested?

Re: Hill repeats!
Shawn and I did a doug this morning together after a pretty solid pace waterfront TT starting at shoal point. I was cursing both my 169lb body, and my 39-27 granny as I watched his 34-25 granny and 146lb body ride me off his wheel. Power to weight can be a bitch. You want to get better at Newton Heights though, this would be the way to do it.
Regardless, I'll be there. Not this sunday, as I'm in Vancouver for the TT, but after that. I might be there a little earlier than that in order to be home before the family wakes up, but I'll definitely see you there, and I will do my full 6 repeat requirement.
Edit: Ya know, you could probably get in most of those repeats, and still have time to jump on the sunday ride as they come through Mt doug.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Better yet. Do the Mt. Doug thing, then latch on to the Sunday ride as it rolls past (usually between 8:00 and 8:15)
Best of both worlds and no excommunication required!
