Two bikes for sale

Post by Rolf »

My buddy Rumon has posted two bikes for sale. Forwarded message follows:

This is an ironic sale of my summer road bike. I've had and loved the ride since I bought it in '08. However, the majority of the love has been sedentary aesthetic love from a distance as the thing has only ~ 300km on it. Finally working to get out of my office rut, I've been back on it a couple of times and realize that, in truth, it's too small. Quel drag.

55cm 2008 Wilier Mortirolo

Gruppo: Full Campy Centaur 10sp (Compact 50/34)

$2000 OBO

Wife's bike:

47cm (52 cm TT) Cannondale Capo Single Speed Urban Assault Vehicle

Mish-mash of parts, notable hop-up to a Dura-Ace crank (48T x 17)

Naw... if it's too stubby for Rumon, it's too stubby for me. I've got an inch or so on him, I think.

Besides... the Bianchi just received a new, used, "Mystery" rear wheel during a tune-up at Fairfield Bikes, allowing me to ride with even greater gravity than ever before. I got all the bike I need. :)

UPDATE: I think the Capo may be sold.
