Can You Help Restore the Tripleshot Difference?

Post by Rolf »

We're looking for volunteers to commit to signing up for C, B3, and B2 road rides over the next three weeks. If this could be you, please leave a comment below, or just sign up for a ride. Thanks!

Our club was founded on the value of being welcoming and supportive to all riders. For years, our C ride was arguably our most important ride: an open door to anyone who wanted to road-ride with others in the morning, regardless of age, speed, or technical ability. For some it was a gateway ride — a place to learn before climbing the B and A ladder. For others it became a dependable, easygoing place to stay fit with friends. This open door set us apart from virtually every other club.

Unfortunately, a long winter and our transition to post-pandemic ride management have left us with very inconsistent B2, B3, and C rides. We know there are current and former members who want to join these rides. Some are waiting to rejoin the club only when these rides resume. But many people won't sign up if they think no one else will show up.

Here's where YOU come in! Maybe you're an A2 rider who could use a recovery day? Maybe you're a non-riding member who’s been looking for more predictability at these levels. If you let everyone know below you're committed to showing up for a Tuesday or Friday C, B3, or B2 ride between now and Victoria Day, you'll help us rebuild momentum and do the club a solid! 🙏🏻

Here's a collection of clips from the past two weeks of B3/C revival: https://vimeo.com/rolfwarburton/2022springrevival If you're pictured here and would prefer NOT to appear in the club's social media, please let me know!

The last two weeks have seen a great renewal of some perennial ride options, with a dozen C riders on Friday. Thanks to those of you who have resumed riding with the club, or who have foregone some workout intensity to help the club rebuild momentum. I and others will be out again this week to give B3 and C a final push toward consistency.
