2020 Annual General Meeting

Post by mfarnham »

Due to Covid, this year’s AGM will occur via Zoom on Monday September 28, beginning at 7pm. Grab yourself a cold beverage and a snack and tune in to meet up with your friends and plan the future of your club.

Mark your calendars now. Closer to the date, we’ll send out more information via email, including a link so you can join in on the Zoom call.

We'll commence the formal AGM at 7:00. This should wrap up around 8:00. From 8:00 to 9:00 we'll hold an informal "town hall" style meeting to talk about club priorities, plans, and ideas.

2020 Annual General Meeting Agenda (Sept 28, 7pm, Zoom)

- Call to order
- Approval of agenda and 2019 AGM minutes
- President's report
- Treasurer's report and approval of 2020-2021 budget
- Report on Tripleshot youth program
- Election of Executive Committee members for 2020-2021
- Adjournment of official AGM

- Open discussion: town hall format

Minutes from the 2019 AGM will be posted on the club website shortly, and will be forwarded along with the Zoom link.

Please find time to show up for this. These days it’s our only opportunity to meet as a big group, and it’s a good chance to make your voice heard.

Cheers!

For the online edition of the AGM, we will be using Zoom. (The link to the meeting will be shared closer to the meeting date.) Please download the Zoom client to your computer, phone, or tablet before the meeting starts.

During the meeting, we will be using Zoom's voting features that are available in the Particpants list. When asked to vote, please click either the green check mark for Yes or the red x for No. If you want to ask a question or make a comment, please use the blue hand ("Raise hand") button in the participants list.

Here's a screen shot of a meeting where two people have voted Yes, one has voted No, and two have not replied.

Tripleshot's Annual General Meeting will be held tomorrow (Monday, September 28) at 7pm via Zoom.

Please check your Tripleshot-listed email account for the Zoom link and password. I'm not posting them here, lest we be subject to a virtual coal-roll by the local Anti-Bicyclists League.

The formal AGM will run from 7:00-8:00pm. From 8:00-9:00 we'll hold an informal "town hall" style meeting to talk about club priorities and plans. Note that while everyone on our mailing list is invited, you must be a Member In Good Standing (i.e., paid up) to vote.

2020 Annual General Meeting Agenda (Sept 28, 7pm Zoom)

- Call to order
- Approval of agenda and 2019 AGM minutes
- President's report
- Treasurer's report and approval of 2020-2021 budget

- Election of Executive Committee members for 2020-2021

Minutes from the 2019 AGM can be found here:

The following slate of candidates for the Tripleshot Executive will be up for acclamation tomorrow, unless there are further nominations from the floor. If there are further nominations we will hold a club-wide vote electronically within a few days of the AGM.

President: Martin Farnham
Vice President: Mary Griffin
Treasurer: Jill Plasteras
Secretary: Tim Gijzen
Director: Kevin Chen
Director: Justine Johnson
Director: Andrew Neale
Director: Ann Patrick
Director: Heather Ranson

Please find time to join in the discussion and make your voice heard. It'll be the first time so many of us have been "together in one place" (Spond doesn't count) since March.

Cheers!
