So I'm scared but I think I'm going to come out on Friday.
I'll buy cawwwfee (even if it's not mandatory for newbies).
I agree with Peter, race A if you're at the front of B and strong enough to animate the action at all there. I'll start in B when the night races start and move to A after a couple to help out, if I don't suck too bad, which I might. The A race fields will probably get pretty big after that slow start on Sunday and it would be cool to have a cohesive team of half a dozen in there to have options. Even if you get crushed your calves will get totally ripped and will glisten in the summer sun when liniment is applied.

Re: Scared
Have courage, Sylvan. Don't let talk of riding up the Hat at 6 a.m. and flat sprints approaching 60 km/h deceive you. There are plenty of "slow and steady" riders among the Tripleshot ranks.
There should be at least one guy tomorrow morning looking for a Rec ride (avg. 30 km/h). Just look for the dirtiest, heaviest bike ...

Hey Sylvan,
I never thanked you for posting the Hawaii rides for me in another post. Based on the rides you did there you should have no problem going out with either group and everyone will love you if you buy coffee! The guys are all great at making you feel welcome......
