Purchase your 2020 Tripleshot Membership

For insurance reasons, you have to purchase a cycling license from Cycling BC when you buy your Tripleshot membership. Note that the license most of us used to buy--"BC Provincial Ride License"--has been renamed the "UCI Cycling for All License" (only people racing at the Provincial level or above are likely to need more than a "Cycling for All" license). The process of buying Tripleshot membership and a license through Cycling BC is integrated, so you can purchase your membership and your license at the same time on the same website. There is also information there about early-bird pricing (ends Jan 5) and family pricing for licenses (you will be offered such discounts automatically when you go to buy your license). Note that there is no early-bird or family pricing for Tripleshot Membership, because even at full price ($30/year), it's a pretty good deal. If you want optional bike insurance (covering crash damage) you need to purchase that in addition to your Cycling for All License.

To attend our rides, you must own one of the licenses sold through Cycling BC *and* be a member of the club. People wanting to try out the club out can get two free rides by going to the registration page above, selecting Test Ride, and signing an online waiver.

When you complete your membership registration for 2020, your profile from the 2019 Membership Profile Directory, will be copied to the 2020 Membership Profile Directory, usually within a few days.

Now is a good time to check your photo and bio and make sure they're still accurate. Edits and replacement photos are always welcomed and can be sent to tripleshot.cycling.photos@gmail.com.

The viewing password for all galleries on the Tripleshot Photos site is in your latest copy of The Rivet (our Club newsletter, emailed 3-4 times per year). Or PM me or ask folks at coffee.

If you haven't yet created a membership profile (photo and bio), you will receive an email within a week or so of purchasing your 2020 membership, telling you how you can submit one.

Hi folks,

Please show your support for Tripleshot and all it provides you by purchasing membership if you haven't done so yet. If you're riding with us and you don't carry Cycling BC insurance, you're exposing Tripleshot and Cycling BC to legal liability on every ride you do.

For those who are members of other Victoria clubs, such as Victoria Wheelers, you're welcome to ride with us occasionally so long as you have Cycling BC insurance. However, we do ask that if you intend to do more than 10 rides in a year with us, you purchase a Tripleshot membership. We ask our members to do the same for the other clubs they ride with.

The following 294 people have purchased their membership for 2020 (updated Sept 27). If you notice someone out on a ride who has not yet joined, please remind them politely to get their $%^& together.

Actually, we're not advertising the link for 2021 yet because Cycling BC still needs to get its Covid Declaration sorted. If you sign up before they do that, you'll have to go back and do a separate Covid Declaration. Best to wait a couple days until they work out the kinks.
