Ok, I'm in! Who's leading this thing and where do I show up?
(p.s. I'm a bit of a know-it-all when it comes to local trail intel--thanks to a lifetime of running and cycling all over the city... so will gladly take on leadership duties at a future date, once I'm somewhat acquainted with the general comportment of the ride. For now, I happily follow and get acclimated to my new bike!)

Claire, I think Ron is conjuring. I'm a maybe.
As for "comportment":
Rule #1:
Rule #2: When encountering road kill, we go hazmat and get close,
Rule #3: take down all roadies.

Yes, gnarly! (just be sure to warn the noobs if the gnarl suddenly becomes more so)
Re: Friday cross ride!
Rob/Claire, its sounds like you need a Terra Nova adventure. Let's plan that over coffee sometime.
Gnarl is hard to get on a weekday morning, but Mystic/Haro is usually good for that (especially wet in the dark!). I'll post something soon.

So much for posting later. I cooked up a counter clockwise route through Oak Bay... But I'll take Moony and Padfoot's advice...
Oh, And Mr Maybe better get his priorities straight!
