This just in, from the Times Colonist. Stand by for more Bike Lane induced road rage from car drivers.

The only thing I see possibly affecting us is the Beacon Hill Park Connection, where people cycling down Vancouver Street towards the water will merge onto the circle of Beacon Hill Park. (But we won't expect too many commuters at 7am!)
More bike lanes on the way

Ugh. Another media image at the top of your article featuring three roadies riding abreast—just to stoke the anti-cyclist fervour.
I see a possible TS CrossFondo jersey, a Wheelers jersey, and a mystery dude.

...but most disturbing are the almost knee-high socks dude in the middle is wearing....another inch and they'd be leotards.

What will be missed is the several single occupant metal boxes elsewhere in the photo, also using up a whole lane, for one person.
Transit is criticised for being only partially full sometimes. But auto traffic is mostly at 20 percent capacity; 5+ seatbelts, but only one occupant.
