Well, that was the largest crowd I've ever seen out for Wednesday hills.
My legs have been feeling the effects of the pace of our saturday morning ride all week, and the low heart rate (170 or so peak, when the legs are dying before demanding enough oxygen to get the heart rate maxed out) is always an indicator of fried legs for me.
Between trying to pace off John, Bob Cameron, and then Scott showing up to pop me going up sinclair, the tempo was faster than usual. That was one of the harder hills rides I've ever had.

Keeping in mind that this is coming from a person who has measured the elevation of a cliff using trigonometry (pace out your distance from the base and then measure the angle to the top), I am amazed at the resolution of those GPS units. I can look at Josh's data and connect the most subtle changes in the elevation plot with dips in the road. I'll bet that if we superimposed two of those traces we could figure out who took the tight line around the corners on Tolmie. Amazing.
