Sorry, Mark. Hills are gross, unless one has a reason to train—in which case they're still gross but at least the pain isn't pointless.
I aim to ride the regular old Farm road ride tomorrow: pedal slowly, smell the seaweed etc. I'm deep in the throes of some sort of fitness regression period, the parameters of which will only emerge in retrospect.

Don't worry, I'm your friend, even on hills. But, not tomorrow because I have a recurring 6 am teleconference on Wednesdays. I never miss these because I'm able to participate from my home office with only my pyjama top on.
