Just returned from riding this. Great event and Bend is a super bicycle town. More than 500 miles of each of the following: single track, gravel and pavement. Alpine or ranch land. The event was really well organized by a friendly non profit community group. Three big passenger vans, two pulling a trailer with a honey pot and one with the lunch food and a trailer to transport bikes back for those riders who only wanted to ride metric centuries. Snack stops every 20 miles if you wanted one. Five or so groups of ten and different abilities each day. Chris Horner rode days one and two. That group averaged over 34 km/hr over 160 kms and with more than 2000 m of climbing so although it wasn’t a race the ride could be hard enough or easy enough for anyone. Good times finished up with a beautiful day up Hurricane.

Wow! This is very cool Marcus! Maybe next year although at this point riding one 100 mile day is tough enough!

Congrats Man!!

Barton.

Great riding Marcus! Maybe that would be a great place to go with some people and do a mini cycling vacation.
