This week keeps getting weirder.
After lauding the nineties all weekend and playing with related GIFfies on Tuesday, I was having lunch downtown Vancouver yesterday when Jason Priestley sat down on the same banquette and dined just inches off my elbow.
I take this to mean Eddie Vedder will spontaneously join a crosstastic Friday spin through UVic, Haro, Oak Bay, and Fairfield to coffee.
Feel free to wear your best plaid flannel shirt (RobD?) and stonewashed cut-offs.

That bests me spotting Mike Gillis in Demitasse the other day. See you Friday, 6:00am @ OBH.

In for moving oh so swiftly - even flow - until I find you in my rear view mirror - if I'm still alive on Friday morning.

I'm in, and sticking with the 90s musical theme,

I gotta pass... Its getting, it’s getting, it’s getting kinda hectic. And I just don’t feel that

This sounds awesome but I'll have to break out the plaid on another day. I'm still single parenting so no morning rides.

Eddie Vedder's joining us on a cross ride?
Hmm.
That's too bad because since you are shamelessly name dropping, on lunch today I ran into Rick Nielson of Cheap Trick in Murchies. Since he was probably the rockingest guitarist from the late 70's I asked him if he'd like to ride with us on Friday and he said he'd probably be too hung over for that, but he thanked me for asking.
he's the cool guy in the hat in this video

JT, as an afficianado of music from the eighties and nineties, I feel compelled to correct you on your Beastie Boys reference. Fight For Your Right was released in 1986. Although the Beastie Boys definitely enjoyed a 90s revitalization with Check Your Head and Ill Communication.
